I have managed to get this far = I have some movement on my axis.
Surprised over Z that has biggest load.

How do I go about to get better X and Y.

Cheers
Bengt

Hi Bengt,

What kind of motors/drives do you have? How are they configured?

Still the same ones as in last days of March this year, pics in our conversation.

Only difference is that it is now set to output 20 recommended by you. Tested back then with temporary cables just to verify that it worked OK with X axis. After that I have teared down all old cables and here I am now using the setup I have had in my office Kflop/Kanalog to play with (I believe it was the same C file back then)

I know that settings are wrong, cannot find info on how to calculate steps / gearing  etc.
These AC servos have 2500ppr encoders.
5mm pitch on ball screws
2:1 belt gearing on X and Y
4:1 belt gearing on Z

Goal 4000mm on X and Y and 2500 on Z

Cheers
Bengt
